Since places are limited, you should complete the registration request form as soon as possible.
Once completed, a representative from the IFFIS2024 Coordination Office will be in touch to confirm your summit registration, provide further details about the event, and address any queries you might have.
The IFFIS2024 symposium is open for qualified professionals, practitioners, and leaders in the field of forensics, law enforcement, and public safety. The summit registration is done on a first-come, first-served basis.
For qualified registrants, the price to attend the IFFIS2024 symposium is free and includes: The IFFIS2024 welcome cocktail (Nov. 11th, from 16h to 19h); Three full days of symposium sessions (Nov. 12th-14th, from 8h to 17h), Breakfast, lunch and coffee breaks for the three days of the symposium (Nov. 12th-14th), Attendance to the Symposium’s evening event (food, drinks and entertainment, on Nov. 13th, from 19h to 22h), Digital copies of the entire symposium sessions (keynote and plenary presentations, breakout and workshop sessions, moderated panel discussion sessions), and a Certificate of attendance to the IFFIS2024 symposium.
As symposium attendant, you’re only responsible for your airfare to/from Montreal and for your hotel accommodation (preferred rates have been established with the Marriott Chateau Champlain hotel where the symposium is held).
The IFFIS2024 symposium is held in beautiful Downtown Montreal at the Marriott Chateau Champlain (MCC) hotel. As a symposium participant, you have access to an IFFIS2024 preferred rate at the MCC hotel for the entire week of the symposium (from Nov. 8th to Nov. 16th).

Although there are no formal activities planned for Tuesday
evening, we encourage you to use the free time to network with symposium
participants, engage with LeadsOnline employees, or explore the city. To this
end, here are a few recommendations of sights to see, neighborhoods to visit,
and activities to consider:
1- Aura light Show at Notre-Dame Basilica: An immersive multimedia experience created by Moment Factory, set in the heart of Montreal's Notre-Dame Basilica - one of the city's most visited churches (approx. 1.5km from the conference venue; 20 min walk).
2- La Grande Roue de Montréal (aka Montreal Big Wheel): Enjoy stunning 360° views of Montreal from Canada's tallest observation Ferris wheel, located in the Old Port. Open daily, this 20-minute ride in climate-controlled cabins reveals Old Montreal, Place Jacques-Cartier, and the Downtown skyline, with Mont Royal as a backdrop (approx. 2.2km from the conference venue; 30 min walk).
3- Local Food scene: Downtown and Old Montreal boast a vibrant food scene, where historic charm meets modern culinary innovation. From cozy bistros (Holder, Place Carmin) and trendy eateries (Jatoba, Grinder), to gourmet restaurants (Ferreira Café, Alexandre), local favorites (Dunn's Smoke Meat), and famous Steakhouses (Moishes, Gibbys, The Keg), you'll find a diverse array of flavors, whether you're craving classic French Cuisine, international delights, or unique local dishes, all set against the backdrop of Montreal's rich cultural tapestry.
4- Nature walk in the Park of Mount-Royal: Mount Royal, the green heart of Montreal, offers breathtaking views of the city skyline from its summit. 5- Montreal's famous Underground: Discover the fascinating network of Montreal's Underground City, a sprawling labyrinth that consists of 32 kms (20 miles) of interconnected tunnels and shopping complexes spread over an area of twelve square kilometers of downtown Montreal. This unique subterranean world offers a cozy retreat from the elements, with access to shops, restaurants, and cultural venues, making it a must-see experience that showcases the city's innovative spirit (accessible 1 block east of the conference venue, via 1,000 De la Gauchetière building).
6- Historic neighborhoods of Old Montreal and the Old Port: Explore the charming cobblestone streets of Old Montreal, where history comes alive through stunning architecture, iconic landmarks like Notre-Dame Basilica, and a vibrant mix of shops, cafes, and galleries. 7- Ste-Catherine - Montreal's main Shopping Street: The heart and soul of downtown, Ste-Catherine Street offer a dynamic shopping experience, boasting a wide array of boutiques, flagship stores, and major retailers. It's the heart of Montreal's fashion scene, where you can find everything from luxury brands to unique local finds, all set against the backdrop of the city's bustling urban vibe.
8- Staying at the Hotel for a casual Dinner Buffet amongst Peers: Finally, if you don't feel like going out, you may stay at the hotel and have dinner with your conference peers.
